The °®¶¹´«Ã½ Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and SUNY Broome invite everyone to this dynamic, day-long event. This inaugural conference will bring together women leaders, co-conspirators, advocates, university faculty/staff, students and community members to address critical issues such as wage gaps, career advancement, and social empowerment. 

This will be a space where women from all walks of life and intersectional identities can network, learn, and inspire each other to take meaningful steps forward in their personal and professional lives. Attendees will discover effective strategies utilized by leaders in different industries that they can apply to their own work.

    Conference registration is free for all Broome County community members; $20 for non-Broome County community members. Email martinn@binghamton.edu with any questions about registration.

  • Event Location & Parking

    This event will take place at both the °®¶¹´«Ã½ Health Sciences Building (48 Corliss Ave, Johnson City, NY 13790) and the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (96 Corliss Ave, Johnson City, NY 13790) in Johnson City, NY.

    An evening social will be held at the Goodwill Theatre's Schorr Family Firehouse Stage (46 Willow St, Johnson City, NY 13790) across the street from the Health Sciences Campus.

    A limited number of parking spots are available in the attached parking lots of each building. The parking lot across Corliss Ave. attached to the Firehouse Stage has also been reserved for this event. Attendees are encouraged to follow signage to park in the Firehouse Stage lots first. If those lots are full, attendees can park in either the SOPPS or HSB lots.

    As this is the first year for this event, we are actively looking for corporate sponsorships and local women-owned business sponsorships and participation.
