About

Mission and Overview

The mission of the Multicultural Resource Center is to support and educate the campus community through initiatives designed to increase awareness and understanding of cultural diversity. The MRC facilitates programs and activities supporting the recruitment, retention, personal and professional development of all students with a special emphasis on students from culturally diverse and historically underrepresented populations.

The MRC provides the MRC Microgrant which is designed to promote collaborative efforts in programming among cultural organizations of diverse backgrounds. Student groups can apply for funding to conduct programs that seek to educate the campus community.

The MRC facilitates programs that fall under four primary programmatic initiatives;

  • Leadership Development
