The University Counseling Center (UCC) provides comprehensive clinical and referral services to °®¶¹´«Ã½'s undergraduate students, graduate students and affiliated entities. Our goal is to enhance the psychological well-being of our students so they can take full advantage of the educational opportunities at the University.

- Tell us you are interested in setting up an appointment. If your concern is urgent, please notify us at this time.

Telemental health service options are being delivered primarily through the Zoom platform.
The UCC uses procedures and settings in Zoom to ensure full IT security of sessions.
You must be in New York state at the time of the appointment in order to receive clinical
services at the UCC through telehealth.
Experiencing urgent symptoms?
We will provide same-day urgent service, with emergencies triaged to determine the appropriate level of care. Same-day urgent appointments will be offered in person and via telehealth. After-hours support remains available through the main counseling number at 607-777-2772, then press 2.

How to make a referral to the UCC
Are you interested in helping your friend, student or child? Are you worried about their well-being? Know your limits as a help-giver; only go as far as your expertise, training and resources allow. When a student needs more help than you are able or willing to give, it is time to make a referral to a professional.
