Background

Colleen Stavola is a licensed master social worker who grew up in the °®¶¹´«Ã½ area. She attended °®¶¹´«Ã½ for both her undergraduate and graduate work in human development and social work, respectively. She has been trained in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and has focused her post-graduate work around supporting and working with adults and youth who have experienced trauma. The predominant theoretical approaches she uses in her counseling practice are cognitive-behavioral-, mindfulness- and solutions-focused. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, bowling, theater, traveling and reading.
