Howard joined °®¶¹´«Ã½ in 2023 as a lecturer in the Engineering Design Division. She retired from John Deere in 2017 as its global director for environment, health, safety, standards and sustainability with responsibility for global environmental operations, occupational safety and health, engineering standards, product safety and sustainability. Before joining John Deere, Howard held various positions within General Electric in environmental functions and in Six Sigma, and did environmental consulting work with utilities, military and other industrial sectors. She has a BS and MS in civil and environmental engineering from Clarkson University, a MBA from Xavier University, and was a registered professional engineer.
