Katie Sasina serves as the Instructional Support Associate for the Pharmacy Technician Program Microcredential at the °®¶¹´«Ã½ School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. With her extensive experience in both community and hospital pharmacies, she assists students in skills labs to create real-life experiences technicians will encounter in the field. Before joining the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Sasina worked as a certified, registered pharmacy technician at the United Health Services Wilson inpatient pharmacy for over 6 years. There she delivered medication to units, mixed IVs, trained new technicians, and helped with various other pharmacy responsibilities. Prior to her hospital tenure, Sasina spent 6 years working as a senior technician at Rite Aid pharmacy where she served her community members by filling their prescriptions.Katie Sasina, CPhT
