Background

Chou-Yu (Joey) Tsai earned his BS and MS in psychology at National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan, and his PhD in leadership and organizational behavior in School of Management at °®¶¹´«Ã½.

Tsai joined the School of Management faculty in 2018, teaching courses in entrepreneurship, organizational behavior, strategic leadership, and research methods. Tsai’s research focuses on studying leadership through the lens of multilevel and interdisciplinary methodologies. His research interests also extend to entrepreneurship and leadership, leader emergence in virtual teams, strategic leadership and human capital resource emergence, leadership in coaching, and leadership in robotic technology.

Tsai is a fellow in a number of °®¶¹´«Ã½ research centers, including the Bernard M. & Ruth R. Bass Center for Leadership Studies, Center for Collective Dynamics of Complex Systems, and Center for Cognitive and Psycholinguistic Sciences. He also serves as an editorial review board member for The Leadership Quarterly and Wine Business Case Research Journal.
