Celebrating Bing pride at Homecoming 2019
Bing pride only grows with time, and the most palpable example could be seen on Gorgeous Washington Street downtown, the site of the first-ever Homecoming block party. With nearly 1,500 alumni, more than 90 events and a sudden blast of summer-like temperatures, Homecoming 2019 was one to remember.
Ellyn Uram Kaschak '65 celebrated for support of women and girls
Her gift to establish the Ellyn Uram Kaschak Institute for Social Justice for Women and Girls at °®¶ą´«Ă˝ will ensure the University is always at the forefront of the fight to bring justice to women and girls.
Harpur College kicks off 70th birthday with “Mrs. Bartle’s Tea”
This event at Colonial Hall in the Endicott Visitors Center included historic photos, yearbooks and memorabilia; a short video about Harpur College’s early years; a ceremonial “pouring of the tea”; and singing of the Harpur alma mater.
TIER Talks highlights °®¶ą´«Ă˝â€™s global reach
“Mission Possible: Alumni Changing the World” showcased alumni solving societal problems that, if left unchecked, have the potential for micro- and macro-level devastation. The speakers have dedicated their lives to increasing healthcare access, improving educational outcomes and trying to prevent genocide.
Alumna supports next generation of neuropsychologists
