The BioM2 Lab develops innovative bioinspired microdevices and microphysiological systems to advance disease modeling, drug screening, and therapeutic discovery. Leveraging expertise in tissue engineering, microfluidics, and biofabrication, we create physiologically relevant, perfusable, 3D human-tissue platforms (including organ-on-a-chip, multi-organ-on-chip, and body-on-a-chip systems) that closely replicate human organ structures and functions.

Our engineered living systems provide robust alternatives to traditional animal models, particularly for diseases difficult to study in animals. By simulating complex physiological interactions and responses, our microsystems aim to transform disease modeling, accelerate drug development, and enhance therapeutic translation, ultimately improving human health outcomes.
