°®¶¹´«Ã½ is proud to have a collaborative relationship with Tri-Cities Opera, providing auditioned and selected students with professional stage experience. Since 1979, °®¶¹´«Ã½'s Master of Music in Opera Program has collaborated with Tri-Cities Opera to create a unique and exceptional program combining the professional experience that Tri-Cities Opera can offer with the academic, performance and practical studies offered by °®¶¹´«Ã½. The teaching artists bring a wide experience of long and continuing careers in opera to the program.

Program Overview

  • Minimum 26 credits in applied coursework, including all of the following:
    Voice lessons, Voice coaching, Studio voice class, Opera workshop, Vocal
  • Elective courses may include languages, dance, stage movement, history of opera
  • 6 credits in Music History, Research, and Analysis courses
  • MM Thesis Roles and Recital

Application Deadline

The MM program has a rolling admission and will accept applications at any time.  If you wish to be fully considered for funding in the 2025-2026 year, you must submit your application by February 1, 2025.
