Fire Prevention

The EHS Fire safety program includes the following activities: 

  • Conduct campus fire drills
  • Issue permits for campfires, hot work, fire system impairments, confined space, tents, theatrical indoor/outdoor flame effects, fireworks
  • Inspect buildings for fire safety compliance
  • Inspect and coordinate fire extinguisher maintenance and service
  • Respond to fire alarm activations
  • Provide fire safety and fire extinguisher training
  • Test and inspect wet fire sprinkler systems in all buildings
  • Accompany regulatory inspectors
  • Coordinate crowd manager program
  • Coordinate with °®¶¹´«Ã½'s Emergency Response Team
