Clubs and cultural events
Our department also has a local chapter of , the international language honor society; majors who qualify for induction receive an advantage on civil service exams, as well as access to job postings (see the website ).
Additionally, Spanish majors may also qualify for , the Spanish honor society, and Italian majors for , the Italian honor society. We also have many cultural events throughout the year, including film series, concerts in the languages, cultural evenings, holiday celebrations and national traditions.
