Students who are interested in learning more about the legal profession and/or being advised on the law school application process are encouraged to declare their interest by submitting the using the provided link.
The pre-law concentration complements your existing major's degree plan, which gives
you the flexibility to pursue your academic interests while preparing for law school.
After you submit the form, a concentration will be added to your student record and
you will be added to the pre-law listserv.
Pre-law advising is open to all students, regardless of their standing or major. The
pre-law concentration is an educational goal—not a major or particular program of
study. There are no specific courses required for admission to law school, nor is
there a suggested major. By declaring the pre-law concentration, you are simply noting
that you may want to pursue law school.
You can have the concentration removed from your record and your name taken off the
listserv at any time by emailing prelaw@binghamton.edu.
