The Harpur Law Council (HLC) Private Sector Summer Law Internship gives °®¶¹´«Ã½ juniors and seniors the opportunity to experience law in the private sector; to make informed decisions about the choice of a legal career, based on their own experience; to establish professional connections with HLC member attorneys and other BU law alumni; and will be paid by the firm or company to defray living and travel expenses during the internship.

Internship Overview
- What is the Harpur Law Council Private Sector Law Summer Internship?
This paid summer internship program gives °®¶¹´«Ã½ juniors and seniors the opportunity to:

Experience the practice of law in the private sector.

Make informed decisions about the choice of a legal career, based upon their own experience.

Establish professional connections with Harpur Law Council member attorneys and other BU law alumni.

Preference will be given to students from underrepresented backgrounds and to students who have not yet participated in opportunities such as this.

Selected interns will be paid by the firm or company to help defray living and travel expenses during the internship.

Students chosen for the internship must work full-time at the assigned host organization for eight to ten weeks during the summer. - When is the internship deadline to apply?

Your gift to the Harpur Law Alumni Fund supports the Public Interest Law Internship Program, which gives °®¶¹´«Ã½ juniors and seniors the opportunity to experience the practice of law in the public sector and make informed decisions about their choice to pursue a career in law. Selected students receive stipends ranging from $4,000 to $6,000 plus one credit.
